"We were unsure as to what to expect, we were not disappointed. The package purchased was the RED tour. A tour of the brewery, 4 pints of real ale or 8 halfs and some food thrown in for good measure. Stephen took our tour, which was informative and very well delivered in a light relaxed manner. All in all loved it , a great afternoon out... will certainly return..."

"Michael, our tour guide, made our visit to Lancaster Brewery very enjoyable. We booked a 45 minute tour, longer if you asked questions. And we did. But we couldn’t catch Michael out – he knew everything! After the tour we settled down with a meaty pork pie, salad and silverskin pickled onions, washed down with Lancaster ale. Then we attempted to play darts! Lunch and three pints per person were included in our brewery visit. The seasonal special, Earl Grey, was tasty; as were Blonde, Red, Amber, Wit, Rye…! We had a lovely time. This is a great activity for friends, families, works outings, stag/hen/birthday parties. At £21.95 pp it’s excellent value."

"We visit Lancaster Brewery frequently and I must say, we're never disappointed. The real ales are fantastic and you can a brewery tour too, if you like. They host a number of events from food and drink festivals to Christmas markets and they're always very well organised. There is a large outdoor area so it's perfect for a summertime drink. In addition, they do serve food, mainly pie and peas and deli boards but the real ale is the main event. Love this place, would highly recommend."

"Great beer and a good tour. Shorter and simpler than most other brewery tours but still interesting. Also a very tasty after-tour session in the brewery tap bar where the staff clearly love their work as much as we enjoy the beer."

"Was surprised with a visit for my birthday and enjoyed every minute. Great to see how a small brewery works and our tour guide Michael was pleasant and knowledgeable on just his second tour. The beer is fantastic as well. Recommend the Lancaster Red"

"Excellent visit. Good tour. Very generous samples of beer. 8 x half pints of your favourite beer, or a selection of all of the beers. Chris, the Manager really knows his stuff, and presents the Brewery excellently. Opportunity to buy and take away your choice of beers in 500ml bottles. The venue is in an industrial unit in Lancaster which has been fitted out as a pub/ bar with good selection of drinks and food. Very authentic. The tour was a present. We live in Cheshire, but well worth the trip. Will be going again"
